Harlem AIDS Blanket Awarded Harlem Arts Alliance (HAA) Grant

The Harlem AIDS Blanket sponsored by Harlem World Magazine won a grant from the Harlem Community Arts Fund which is part for the Harlem Arts Alliance (HAA).

On August 19th, 2011 a grant award was awarded by HAA Executive Director Micheal Unthank and received by Daniel Tisdale, founder and president of the Harlem AIDS Blanket.

The Harlem AIDS Blanket was created in 2009 to make Harlem high school students aware of the on-going AIDS/HIV crisis in Harlem, where women are being infected with the AID virus 10 times more then men.
